National Qualifying Points | State/Province Invites
Qualifying Period: June 1, 2014 – May 31, 2015
**Exhibitors 70 years and over as of August 1 need only half the qualifying points required per class in order to qualify. If the point(s) required has 0.5 point, please round down to the whole number and half of that number.
Halter
Select amateur halter competitors (not including performance halter) can earn an invitation to the 2015 Adequan Select World by competing at 10 shows in a halter class during the qualifying period. Shows will be counted by show numbers on a one-horse, one-exhibitor basis.
Performance Halter
If a horse earns its performance Register during the qualifying period (June 1, 2014, thru May 31, 2015), it will qualify to show in the performance halter at the 2015 Select World Show. If a horse earned its performance ROM prior to the qualifying period, he/she will need an additional 10 riding points during the qualifying period in order to qualify for the 2015 Select World Show. Riding points earned in the youth, open, amateur and Select amateur divisions during the qualifying period can cross over to count for Select performance halter. Showmanship points do not count.
Amateur State/Province Invitational Program
The Amateur State/Province Invitational program will once again be an available method of earning an invitation for Select amateur competitors. The Select amateur-horse combination will be required to reach at least half the points set as the minimum to be invited as a state/provincial invitee in each particular class. This program is operated by AQHA, not the AQHA affiliates, and exhibitors are invited based on the state/province in which they reside, not where they show. Ties will be broken by the exhibitor who won the last point or 0.5 point first.
